1) Praying before the meeting
a. Can we pray before we start?
b. Oh Lord Jesus, we need your supply when we serve the children.
c. Lord, we pray for all the children under our care, preserve and protect them for your interest.
d. Lord Jesus we love You. We also love the little children.
e. Lord, we are so happy that we are serving with the children. Thank you for giving us such an opportunity.
f. Can we pray-read a verse or sing a song before we start?
2) Coordinating for the meeting
a. Who is leading the singing this week?
b. Who is telling the story this week?
c. what serving ones are assigned to bring the snack?
d. If it is your day to serve the children, please show up a little early so that you can pray with the other serving ones.
3) Signing in and out
a. Please remind the parents to sign in their kids when they drop them off.
b. Remember to ask the parents to sign their kids out when it is time to pick them up.
c. After our meeting is over, the children can leave, only when their parents pick them up.
4) Talking to parents
a. Would you like to know how your children behaved today during the meeting?
b. We provide some snacks during the meeting, but it helps us a lot when they have a good breakfast before they come.
c. Your son was a good boy today. He listened and followed our directions.
d. Your daughter really likes to sing. She did a great job helping us with some of the songs.
5) Conversation with the children during the meeting
a. Hi everyone, my name is Mrs. Smith. I am going to help with the singing.
b. Johnny, be nice to the other boys and girls. If you keep misbehaving, I am going to tell your mom when she picks you up.
c. Today we are going to sing the songs that are written on the board.
d. Everyone did an excellent job during the singing today. Way to go!
e. At the end of today’s meeting, we are going to have something special, but only for those who behave well.
f. Because everyone did a great job, listening and paying attention today, we have a special treat for all of you.
